Ready to hunt down some treasures? The beloved Finders Keepers market is in Melbourne again over three exciting days in July. From Friday the 12th to Sunday the 14th, step into Carlton’s Royal Exhibition Building and explore stalls from over 200 creators at one of Australia’s leading design markets. There will be fashion, jewellery, artworks and homewares from talented Victorian and interstate makers, as well as tasty food and entertainment on offer. This market is an annual event and eagerly anticipated; while its original home is Melbourne, the markets also take place in Brisbane in June and Sydney later in December.
In Melbourne, Friday will start the weekend off right with happy hour (or rather, hours) at the bar from 3pm to 5pm and late night shopping until 9pm. Then on Saturday and Sunday you can spend all day exploring the boutique and bespoke. The stunning 1870s Royal Exhibition Building is a treat to see in itself with its soaring roof and Gothic architecture, set in the picturesque Carlton Gardens. It’s the perfect environment to find yourself some special gifts and something unique to take home.
