Australian Grand Prix

We know you’re ready and raring for the Formula 1® 2018 Rolex Australian Grand Prix to start! This year’s massive event kicks off the series of 21 races across the globe from China to Canada, seeing champions such as Daniel Ricciardo, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton battle it out on each bend. Find your vantage point for the thrilling two-hour race to rule them all on Sunday 25 March.

There are plenty of incredible highlights for spectators this year in addition to the main race. The on-track events are of course the main attractions, including the Australian GT Championship where GT4 cars will join the GT3 cars for the first time. Watch the first ever Coates Hire Supercars Melbourne 400 and Championship at the Grand Prix, and be there trackside for the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli – Asia Pacific. Watch three very different types of car fulfil their potential in the MSS Security Ultimate Speed Comparison, then see the classics of the F1 family from Ferrari, Austin Healey, McLaren and more pass by in the Historic Parade.

In between watching the action on the track, there’s also a lot of entertainment to be found. The Melbourne Walk gives you the chance to get up close and personal (and maybe even snap a selfie) with your driving heroes. Music lovers should make their way to Heineken Village for the Black Eyed Peas DJ Set featuring and Taboo plus special guest Jessica Reynoso. If you’re the hands-on type, then make your way to the Pit Stop Challenge where you can change your own tyre in record time at F1 Central. If you’re after something more relaxed, simply stroll past the Automotive Avenue Car Club displays of all vehicles old and new.
