Flinders Lane is fast becoming the ultimate shopping destination. The street was historically the centre of the Melbourne rag trade, dating back to the turn of the 19th century (thanks Wikipedia for this info). The clothes may no longer be made in Flinders Lane but they can certainly be bought there. Some of the trendy outlets include QBF (aka Quick Brown Fox), Zomp, Alphaville and Obus.
Running across Flinders Lane is well known Degraves Street and Centre Way Arcade. These lanes are no doubt why Melbourne is consider one of the hippest cities in the world. Check out the pic of Degraves street, Centre Way Arcade and Flinders Lane below.
Why are we telling you all this? Because of course Punthill has not one, but two, properties in Flinders Lane. Punthill Flinders Lane is located smack on the corner of Flinders Lane and Degraves Street (you can smell the morning coffee being grinded from your window – yum!) and Punthill Manhattan is amongst the galleries and designer shops of the “Paris end”.
